What are Flower Essences?
Flower essences have been used by ancient civilizations for thousands of years to promote awareness of imbalances in the body. It's only in recent years that flower essences have become popular in alternative medicine circles and natural healing courses.
Flower essences were developed for modern medicine by Dr. Bach in the 1930s. A successful pathologist and general practicioner, Dr. Bach believed that modern medicine focused too much on treating symptoms and not enough on helping the patient overcome their own illness. He identified 38 basic flower essences to help heal different emotional states.
A flower essence should not be confused with essential oils or herbal tinctures:
Essential oils are oils make from plants and flowers, much like the olive, rapeseed and other oils we use for cooking. They are highly aromatic and used in burners, diffusers or a couple of drops to the bathwater to relax or invigorate with scent.
Herbal tinctures use blended extracts of various plants to create concentrated healing formulas. People use herbal tinctures directly on affected areas to heal physical pain and illness.
Flower essences, on the other hand, are infusions of flowers diluted in water. This infusion is then stabilized with brandy and then further diluted with water. A flower essence has no scent (apart from the brandy) and does not work on physical symptoms.
Instead, flower essences work on emotional and mental aspects of health and wellbeing. The diluted flower essence – made from only a few wild flowers without destroying the plant - contains the living energy of the plant, and this reacts with the energy inside of us, producing the desired outcomes.
A patient usually takes flower essences from a dropper bottle – a few drops several times per day. Others add a few drops to a glass of water. You can also add a few drops to the bath, or use them in a cream.
Flower essences contain such a minute amount of plant substance, and are completely safe to use. Like most homeopathic remedies, it's impossible to overdose on flower essences, although extremely large quantities could lead to intoxication due to the alcohol used to stabilize the flower essence.

No that didn't work for me, look into Lobelia inflata. It used to be in pill as Bantron until the 1960's when the FDA said "it had no effect on quitting smoking." That's bogus, if you use it you will stop getting nicotine into your system but you'll still have the feeling that you smoked a cigarette since it tricks the receptors that intake and crave nicotine.
That stuff you want to try has lobelia in it, but that's all you need. So stick with one plant that is sure to cure your habit.
