I don't believe there is any home remedy that actually works.
The procedure at the doctor's office might officially be surgery, but trust me it really is not.
I had a mole removed from my face a couple of months ago, and it took all of 2 minutes, and it was painless. He put a bit of topical pain killer on there, then a little needle with more painkiller. Then he cut for about 30 seconds with a scalpel and it was over. I didn't feel a thing.
